Our standards

Members of our cooperative hold relevant accreditations for energy efficiency renovations.

The qualifications our experts hold, as appropriate:

Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination
Your Ecofurb Coordinator will hold the Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination & Risk Management, which means that they are trained to manage technical risks of retrofit projects.

Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment
Your Ecofurb Coordinator will often work with a Retrofit Assessor. They will be trained as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and hold the Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment.

Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice
If you have a Discovery Call before you book an Ecofurb Plan, this will normally be with a a Retrofit Adviser, who will hold the Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice. This is so they can give initial advice about how a Plan could help you.

The standards relevant to contractors:

MCS certification
MCS creates standards for the certification of products, installers and their installations that enable the production of electricity and heat from renewable sources. All the renewable energy generation installers we refer to hold this.

TrustMark registration
Trustmark is a government-endorsed scheme, registering contractors carrying out works in or around your home. Most of the contractors we refer to are registered.
